The Nassau County Sheriff's Office said the 12-year-old autistic boy missing since Wednesday morning said the he was found safe about 6 p.m. He had been hiding in the woods.
Kyler Kersey missed the school bus and he did not report to school. Sheriff Bill Leeper said several deputies actively searched on Vikki Road, near Kyler's Callahan home, until he was located and returned home.
