Sailboat removed after crashing into Bridge of Lions

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. –  A sailboat has crashed into the Bridge of Lions in St. Augustine and is now stuck underneath the bridge.

The St. Augustine Police Department reports that the bridge is not closed and that sea tow is heading to the bridge to remove the sailboat.

The sailboat was anchored at Matanzas  marina. However, due to rough waters and high winds, the sailboat broke free from the moorings.
