'Celebration of Life' service held for Raiden Kelly

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A "Celebration of Life" service was held Wednesday night for the teen hit and killed while walking to a bus stop in East Arlington.

Raiden Kelly was struck by a Hyundai SUV Thursday morning on Matthew Ungar Drive near Kernan Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

He had just turned 15 the day before.

Family, friends and loved ones gathered at The Church of Eleven 22 on Beach Boulevard near San Pablo Road.

Raiden's youth pastor led the service, and said he wanted to reflect on happy times.

He even told a story about how much Raiden loved pie and joked around with his friends on mission trips.
