Man sought for fraudulent use of credit card in St. Johns County

Surveillance video shows man buying $75 gift card at Walmart


ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with fraudulent use of credit cards last week.

A 21-year-old St. Augustine man told police he left his wallet on the roof of his car after pumping gas at a convenience store on State Road 16 on April 16. A few days later, the man's bank called to say his card was used six times at four different places.

Surveillance video from a Walmart on U.S. 1 South showed a man buying a $75 gift card with the victim's card. He was wearing a white shirt with a camouflage design on the sleeves and a camouflage hat.
