GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida Police Department said it is investigating after a man exposed his private parts to someone in the area of Little Hall and Stadium Road Extension around 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
The victim told police a man in his 20s, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, exposed himself as they walked past each other.

The man was reported to be wearing a white shirt with writing and colored gym shorts. He had red or blonde hair and possible facial hair.
UFPD said officers attempted to locate the man but were unable to.
The man was last seen heading west on Stadium Road Extension toward Newell Drive.
UFPD is asking anyone with information on the incident or the man to contact them at 352-392-1111.
UFPD issued some basic safety considerations to those on campus:
- Report suspicious activities or individuals immediately using 911.
- Always be alert and aware of your surroundings. This is particularly true if you are wearing headphones and may not be able to hear someone near or behind you.
- If someone bothers you, don’t be embarrassed to attract attention to yourself. Yell!
- Avoid walking alone. On campus, use the Student Nighttime Auxiliary Patrol (SNAP), a safe campus escort service by calling 352.392.7627 (SNAP).
- Stay in well-lit areas, away from alleys, bushes and entryways.
- If someone stops and asks for directions, avoid getting close to the individual.
