JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville-based company that has lost nearly a half million dollars in burglaries and vandalisms recently is increasing the reward for information in the cases.

Crowley Maritime Corporation, which was founded in 1892, is primarily a family and employee-owned company that provides transportation and logistics services in U.S. and international markets.

Beginning in early April, an unknown suspect or suspects broke into the fenced areas at the company's Talleyrand Avenue locations several times and vandalized hundreds of semi-trailer and heavy machinery tires.

No one has been caught in the case.

Crowley has enhanced the Crime Stoppers reward in the case by $7,000, bringing the total reward amount to $10,000.

Anyone with information about the vandalism at the properties is asked to contact First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-8477.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and could receive the cash reward.
