3 bodies found at Altamonte Springs motel

Deaths ruled suspicious, police say

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Three people were found dead Sunday in a room at an Altamonte Springs motel, according to police.

The bodies were found at the Remington Inn and Suites at 450 Douglas Ave.

Police said the bodies were discovered by maintenance crews just after 3:30 p.m. The deaths have been ruled suspicious.

It is not yet known how the three people died.

Many motel guests, some who live there year-round, were rattled by the discovery.

"I can't process this right now. It's not normal, not at all," Melissa Trinidad said. "I'm scared. I'm terrified. And it's so close to home, my kids live right around the corner."

"I'm confused. I'm wondering what is going on right now. I don't know how to, I'm just troubled. How can three people just end up dead like that?" Maxwell Jackson said.

It's unclear how long the occupants were staying in the room.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact police.
