Person shoots self during argument, deputies say

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – A domestic argument in Orange Park ended Thursday morning when someone shot themselves, the Clay County Sheriff's Office said.

The condition of the person is not known, deputies said.

The incident was reported on Vanderford Road North, which is east of Blanding Boulevard and south of Kingsley Avenue.

There were children in the house at the time, deputies said. The children are believed to be safe.
