BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – A boil water advisory was issued late Thursday night for anyone in Bradford County who uses the City of Starke water system.
The City of Starke Water Department issued the advisory following a drop in water pressure in the municipal water system that could cause a potential contamination.
This is a precautionary measure until further notice.
Customers should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use if using the water for drinking or cooking.
Washing your hands, doing laundry or other activities where the water is not ingested is fine without treatment.
Bottled water is also a viable option for use during the day.
If you have further questions can contact the City of Starke Clerk’s Office at 904-964-5027 or visit its website at www.cityofstarke.org.
