COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – Seven people suffered injuries in a crash Saturday in Columbia County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened at 8:30 a.m. on State Road 8 near mile marker 312.

The driver of a Ford truck traveled into the lane of a person driving a Chevrolet suburban. The driver of the suburban, Aura Villalobos, 37, swerved and lost control, the FHP said
Villalobos and passenger, 8-year-old Albert Ramirez, suffered minor injuries, the FHP said.
Also in the suburban were passengers Edith Ramirez, 15, and Maria Ramirez, 12, who both suffered serious injuries. Aaron Ramirez, 4, and 3-month-old Lisbeth Ramirez suffered critical injuries.
