Diner complains about restaurant's 'offensive' Christmas music

Manager's photo of note goes viral

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Christmas music at a St. Augustine restaurant created a Scrooge-like response from a customer.

Michael Lugo, the owner of Michael's Tasting Room, said someone left a written note on the back of a receipt, complaining about the restaurant's choice in Christmas music.

The note read, "Christmas music was offensive. Consider playing holiday music or less religious-themed."

"It was really like, 'What is going on in this world?'" Lugo told WKMG-TV. "I don't know if it's a trend in society, or what, but to us, it's just scary."

Lugo posted the note on his Facebook page and it has since gone viral, generating hundreds of comments and reactions.
