JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was shot Monday afternoon in the Lakeshore area, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Officers were called just before 4:30 p.m. to investigate at Lake Shore Boulevard and Plymouth Street.

The victim was brought in a private car to UF Health hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The shooting happened about a mile away from a Woodcrest Road home, where police say a man was found dead Monday morning.
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
