St. John's County Summer Camp filling up

Must be drawn for chance to register

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Summer camp in St. Johns County is in such high demand that the St. Johns County County Parks and Recreation Department is holding a drawing for the chance to register for the camp.

The camps are for children ages 5 to 12. Camps include outdoor activities, field trips, arts and crafts and swimming.

Entries for the drawing open at 8 a.m. on March 1 and must be received by 5 p.m. on March 17. St. Johns County residents can register for the drawing online at www.sjcfl.us/youth or by calling 904-209-0377. Entries can also be made in person at the Solomon Calhoun Center, 1300 Duval Street during regular business hours.

The drawing will take place March 24 and results will be mailed by April 1.
