Deputies: 2 women sought in Polo Ralph Lauren outlet theft

Sheriff's Office says nearly $700 worth of clothes taken from store

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Deputies are looking for two women who stole nearly $700 worth of clothes from a store at the St. Augustine Premium Outlets, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.

It happened about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Polo Ralph Lauren factory store.

Deputies said that two women told a salesperson they were looking for winter clothes.

The women then took off with three sweat suits, two shirts and a sweater after managing to remove some of the anti-shoplifting sensors, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said that surveillance video captured the women getting into an older model gold Buick and heading toward State Road 16.
