Town Center attracts new hotels

Concepts cater to multi-blenders and millenials

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s a sign the Town Center area is the place to be and a sign of Jacksonville’s healthy economy. Two new hotels are in the works. 

A 160 room Hyatt Place will be built at the Strand at Town Center.  The hotel is designed to cater to what they call multi-blenders. What’s a multi-blender?  Well, people who have a 24/7 lifestyle and are looking to balance work and play.

The Hyatt Place joins a Tru by Hilton that’s being built in the Town Center Promenade. The target audience for this hotel is millennials. With UNF and two FSCJ campuses nearby, the location is in a perfect spot to cater those the millennials who go to class or work at the school. The hotel will also cater to leisure and business travelers.
