JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was critically injured Tuesday when he was shot in a parking lot near an Arlington Subway restaurant, police said.
The shooting was reported at Bert Road, and the man made his way to the Subway on Arlington Road for help, police said.

The man was shot in the side and was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police had no suspect description.
