3 men face child porn charges after joint investigation

3 others arrested on other charges in Camden County

WOODBINE, Ga. – Three men were arrested on child pornography charges as part of an investigation by Camden County Sheriff’s Officers, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service during the week of May 22.

The investigation resulted in several arrests being made concerning internet crimes against children, as well as sexual related crimes.

Terrance A. Ervin, 23, and Rodney A. Calloway, 32, both of St. Marys, Georgia, are charged with violations of the Felony Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act, and criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation.

Christopher T. Oliver, 34, of Maryland, who is listed as homeless, is charged with violations of the Felony Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act, and criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation and criminal attempt to commit enticing a child for indecent purposes.

“Crimes of this nature will not be tolerated, especially when these individuals attempt to victimize children," Camden County Sheriff Jim Proctor said. "I applaud the work of the Naval Investigative Service, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and the investigators of the Camden County Sheriff’s Office for forming this task force to eradicate such people from our community.” 

The investigation is still active.

Three other arrests were made as part of the investigation: Conswalla Wilson, 26, of Jacksonville and Latiece Robinson, 26, of St. Marys, Georgia, are charged with prostitution. Terry Kirkland, 27, of Jacksonville, is charged with pimping and possession of marijuana.
