According to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office report, police were called to Mandarin Oaks Elementary School in April when a child was discovered to have bruises and marks on her body.

The person who reported the injuries to the Department of Children and Families told investigators that the child is autistic, mute, deaf and developmentally disabled, the police report said.

It's unclear what Sanchez did, but police said a cord was recovered and it happened inside an apartment.

Sanchez was booked into the Duval County Jail and ordered held on $50,000 bond.
