Gromov opened it, and the deputy saw small pieces of marijuana in it, the arrest report said.

The deputy then asked Gromov to scrape out the remnants and throw it on the ground, which he did, according to the arrest report.

Deputies said a search of the rest of the SUV turned up two containers filled with marijuana in a backpack, hundreds of pills that included Xanax and Ecstasy, a baggie of cocaine, a loaded handgun and ammo.

Gromov, who's a convicted felon, was booked into the St. Johns County Jail on $25,000 bond.
