JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 63-year-old man was found dead at the bottom of a pool in the Arlington Hills neighborhood Thursday afternoon, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Officers responded about 4 p.m. to a home on North Wycombe Drive, just north of Merrill Road.

When they arrived, police found the body of a man at the bottom of the backyard pool.
JSO Homicide Sgt. David Smith said it appeared the man, who has not yet been identified, had been there for several hours.
No one else was at the home, Smith said.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate.
