Also in Northeast Florida, Green Cove Springs Republican Boyce Royal has opened a campaign account to challenge Rep. Bobby Payne, R-Palatka, in House District 19, according to the state Division of Elections website.

Payne was elected in 2016 in the district, which includes Bradford, Putnam, Union and part of Clay counties.
