Multiple arrests follow investigation into sale, distribution of illegal drugs

4 people still sought by Palatka police

PALATKA, Fla. – Multiple people have been arrested and more are sought following an investigation into the sale and distribution of various illegal drugs within the city of Palatka, police said.

The Palatka Police Department's Street Crimes Unit concluded the six month-long investigation called "Summer Detention."

Police said detectives and patrol officers took to the streets Thursday to apprehend 15 people who had been targeted during the investigation.

Eleven people were found and arrested during the arrest sweep, police said. The Police Department is currently seeking four people who have not been located.
