JACKSONVILLE, FLa. – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving another vehicle on Southside Boulevard at Western Lake Drive Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Kevin Roberson, 39, driving a black Infiniti, attempted to make a U-turn on Southside Boulevard at Western Lake Drive and drove into the path of Brian Petr, 24, who was driving a motorcycle south, causing the two to crash, troopers said.

Roberson and a 2-year-old passenger were not injured.
Petr was taken to Memorial Hospital where he later died, troopers said.
The crash has closed all southbound lanes of Southside Boulevard.
