JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A pedestrian struck by two vehicles in Jacksonville's Springfield neighborhood over the weekend has died, authorities said Thursday.
The crash happened about 1:15 a.m. Sunday on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway near Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Ronnie Lewis of Jacksonville was walking in the eastbound lanes when he was clipped by a passing Cadillac Escalade and then struck by a Jeep Patriot.
Lewis, 25, was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with life-threatening injuries, but he did not survive.
The crash remains under investigation.
