The Coast Guard has joined a search for a Georgia man who went overboard from the Carnival Liberty cruise ship 10 miles northwest of Barry Islands, Bahamas.
Reco Scott, 32, of Decatur, Ga. went over board from the ninth deck of the cruise ship at approximately 5 a.m. according to the Coast Guard.

The cruise ship launched a search and contacted the Coast Guard, who joined the search on Friday.
The cruise departed from Port Canaveral and has turned back from the search area, according to a Carnival spokesperson.
