Libertarian candidate offers his take on presidential debate

Johnson in Las Vegas, but won't participate in debate with Trump, Clinton

LAS VEGAS – Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will take the stage Wednesday night in Las Vegas for their final presidential debate.

Channel 4's Joy Purdy will be at the debate. On her way to Las Vegas, she ran into  Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson on her flight.

Purdy spoke with Johnson after the flight about what he hopes to accomplish while in Las Vegas.

“I have a lot of media interviews. There's a lot of spare time for national media, and everybody's here, so we're taking advantage of just a lot of invitations,” Johnson said.

Johnson said that Trump and Clinton spent the first half hour of the last debate talking about everything but the issues.
