JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Firefighters were called to a garage fire in Mandarin on Burning Tree Lane Friday night.
The owners of the home were not home at the time of the fire, but their adult grandson was, according to fire officials. They say the grandson saw smoke and called 911.
Firefighters say when they arrived, they saw heavy flames in the garage.
"Looks like the owners here had a lot of vehicles... looks like a lot of classic cars, we really don't know," said Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Chief Roger Lewis.
Lewis said none of the cars were moved, so authorities can look further into what caused the fire.
The fire marshal is looking into the cause of the fire.
