ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff's Office unveiled the department's newest tool in the fight against crime -- unmanned drones.
The Sheriff's Office provided a demonstration of the drones on Friday.

The county spent about $25,000 each on two drones, which are basically small helicopters with attached cameras.
"Inaccessible terrain they'd be very good at that as well," said Jeff Williamson, OCSO spokesman. "Let's say we have a barricaded suspect or some other kind of dangerous situation."
Some Florida lawmakers are trying to get the controversial drones banned because of concerns over privacy. Law enforcement agencies say the drones could be used in potentially life-threatening situations.
"They could spy on you and see you know, kind of invade your personal space I think," said Orange County resident Rick Reese.
Other residents say they don't mind OCSO using the drones.
"I think if you don't have anything to hide it's probably no worse than Google Earth so I don't have a problem with it," said Orange County resident Suzanne Allen.
