Ex-con suspected of selling cocaine flees from deputies

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking the whereabouts of a man recently released from prison wanted in connection with several crimes over a short period of time.

Henry Darnell Reese Jr., 28, is wanted on two counts of sale of cocaine to undercover operatives over the past several days.  When detectives attempted to contact Reese on Friday, he fled from the area in a vehicle. During an attempted traffic traffic stop of that vehicle, deputies say Reese was involved in a hit-and-run crash, where he then fled on foot.

Reese will face additional charges of reckless driving, fleeing and attempting to elude, as well as leaving the scene of a crash.

Reese, was recently released from prison, has a history of violence and is known to be armed.  He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weights 188 pounds.
