Man accused of child molestation in Missouri arrested in Georgia

WAVERLY, Ga. – A man wanted in Missouri on charges of statutory rape and molesting a child was arrested Friday in Waverly, Georgia, the Camden County Sheriff's Office said Monday.

The County Sheriff's Office said got a tip that 43-year-old Marvin Bone would be arriving about that afternoon. Bone had been on the run for over two years, according to Park Hill, Missouri, police. He was wanted in St. Francis County, Missouri, for molesting a child and also had a warrant for statutory rape in Iron County, Missouri, according to the report.

Bone was seen as a passenger in a vehicle just after 3 p.m.and deputies conducted a traffic stop. They were able to confirm he was the man that was wanted in the police report. Both Camden County and St. Francis law enforcement helped to arrest Bone. 

Bone is at the Camden County Jail waiting to be transported back to Missouri.
