The two other shooting victims survived, but Townsend died of his injuries.

Two men were charged with armed robbery in connection with the deadly shooting, Green Cove Springs police said Sunday. The Police Department said it obtained arrest warrants for Kieshawn Ray Capri Smith, 23, and Daveion Breshod Austin, 20.

Police previously said they have located a vehicle of interest in the shooting. On Wednesday, police said they now have a firearm believed to be involved in Townsend’s death and have charged an unnamed individual with evidence tampering in the case.

“This is all the information we can share at this time, as this is still an active investigation,” police said.
