Dozier pleaded guilty on Feb. 2.

According to court documents, on May 24, 2019, Dozier robbed an adult game room in Jacksonville and attacked and struck an employee in the head. During the robbery, prosecutors said, Dozier brandished a .22 caliber pistol at the employee, bound the employee’s hands with wire, and stole cash from the register and the employee’s phone. Dozier took off in a vehicle driven by an accomplice, Brittany Cooper, but the stolen items were found outside the business, prosecutors said.

Cooper was previously sentenced to 42 months in federal prison for aiding and abetting the robbery, according to prosecutors.

On June 19, 2019, prosecutors said, Dozier robbed another game room in Jacksonville. During that robbery, according to prosecutors, Dozier went into the business, pulled out his .22 caliber revolver and disarmed the armed security guard. Dozier then brandished his firearm at the cashier, who provided him with $1,877, after which Dozier escaped in a vehicle driven by an accomplice, prosecutors said.

Dozier was later arrested for unrelated offenses by local law enforcement in Quincy, Massachusetts, after he had fled Jacksonville, prosecutors said.

The case was investigated by the FBI, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Norfolk County (Massachusetts) Sheriff’s Office.
