JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Due to severe weather expected on Wednesday afternoon, Duval County Public Schools said it is canceling all athletic practices.

DCPS is also making the following changes for Wednesday’s afterschool activities:
Athletics
- Games and competitions: Players and families should check with their coach to determine if the event will be played or canceled.
Afterschool programs such as extended day and Team Up
- These programs will continue as normal with all activities moved inside.
Driver Education
- Driver education classes are canceled.
Community Education
- All outdoor community education programs are canceled.
The district said it is monitoring the weather and will provide an update if any further changes are necessary.
