JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A power outage on Baymeadows Road East early Thursday morning affected thousands. According to JEA, almost 4,000 homes and businesses were left without power.
JEA first got word of the problem just after 7 a.m. A representative from JEA told News4Jax the problem was fixed by 8:30 a.m.

The cause of the outage was listed as some kind of issue with a circuit.
Heavy traffic delays were reported in the area, which delayed crews getting to the scene.
