JSO: Man sought in May shooting on San Juan Avenue

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who shot another man who was walking along San Juan Avenue in May, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday. 

The shooting was reported about 10:30 p.m. May 12 near Jammes Road on the city's Westside.

The victim was shot in the head, police said, and is now a quadriplegic as the result of the shooting.

Police said the shooter was described as a medium-skinned black man about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He had no facial hair and appeared to have blue hair that was parted on the right side, described as a possible toupee, police said.
