A Brunswick man pleaded guilty Thursday to involuntary manslaughter, conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the August 2009 murder of another man.

James Fuller was subsequently sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing 36-year-old Jeff Pennington.

Pennington was found shot to death inside a Pizza Hut restaurant.

Fuller apologized to Pennington's family, saying the shooting was unintentional.

The case had been in plea negotiations for months.
