UNF student's film earning high marks

Wins Best Sound, Best Drama

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A junior at the University of North Florida is earning high marks in the independent film scene.

Connor Dolby, a fine arts major with a concentration in graphic design and digital media, was just awarded Best Sound and Best Drama at the National Campus Moviefest Conference in Atlanta for his film "Luminous."

Dolby’s film was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Cinematography. Dolby’s movie poster placed third out of 200 submissions.

Dolby has also been submitted to the Student Academy Awards and will find out if he was accepted July 17.
