GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Two people were arrested in connection with an August robbery after police discovered evidence in a YouTube video, police said.
Gainesville Police Department officials said that during an investigation into the Aug. 25 robbery at the Lyncourt Square Apartments, they identified Blake Chisolm, 20, Willis Lubin, 20, and Brinson Pierre-Fils, 28, as probably suspects.

Police said the three men broke into the victim's apartment, with Lubin allegedly armed, and attempted to rob the victim of cannabis, but the victim resisted and fought Lubin over the gun, which caused it to fire into the wall and graze the victim's hand.
The victim overpowered the suspects, and they left the area before police arrived, police said.
Police said they discovered Lubin and Chisolm had multiple rap videos posted to YouTube, and in some of those videos, Chisolm is seen wearing glasses that were an exact match to ones he lost during the robbery.
Surveillance video from the scene of the robbery was compared to the online videos and was able to help confirm Lubin and Chisolm's identity, police said.
The two men were located and arrested Wednesday, police said, although Pierre-Fils has not been located.
Chisolm and Lubin are being held in the Alachua County Jail.
