After more than a year, we can finally see the light at the end of the COVID-19 pandemic tunnel.

Although vaccines are becoming more widely available and national COVID-19 infection numbers are trending in the right direction, many people are beginning to feel worn down. This burnout — due to ongoing fear, uncertainty and stress — may make it hard for people to feel like continuing to wear masks and practice social distancing. Experts warn, however, these steps are more critical now than ever, with the end of the pandemic in sight.
