Jaguars re-sign OT Austin Pasztor
Pasztor has played in 26 games with 23 starts with the Jaguars
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars signed exclusive rights free agent offensive lineman Austin Pasztor to a contract, the club announced today.
Pasztor has played in 26 games with 23 starts (three at left guard, 20 at right tackle) since joining the Jaguars in 2012. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Minnesota in 2012. Pasztor was the fourth overall pick in the 2012 Canadian Football League draft by the Edmonton Eskimos but opted to sign with the Vikings.
A native of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Pasztor injured his hand in the Jaguars second preseason game in 2014 and missed the first four regular season games. He started the next eight games before he suffered a season-ending hamstring injury on Nov. 30 against the New York Giants. Pasztor was placed on injured reserve with a ruptured hamstring on Dec. 3
