Gators, Seminoles square off at Ball Grounds

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 3 Florida (23-3, 4-2) will face No. 8 Florida State (18-5, 6-1) at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville on Tuesday at 6 p.m. This will be the second of three meetings between the two schools here in Jacksonville.

With several alumni from both schools in the area there is a large crowd expected at the Baseball grounds. Last year the game drew 8,306 fans as Florida State beat Florida 8-3.

The two teams also met earlier this season with Gators winning 6-0 back on Mar. 15.

Both of the starters for Tuesday’s game come in unblemished this season. Florida will send right hander Jackson Kowar (2-0, 3.10 ERA) to the hill, while the Seminoles will go with Drew Carlton (4-0, 3.08).
