Security for The Players will be undoubtedly be tight, which means anyone attending the event will have to put their personal items in clear bags before they are allowed to enter the grounds.

"It’s security the same as the Jaguars football games. You have to use clear bags. They have to be 6 inches by 6 inches," said attendee Liz Deplock.

Another attendee, Peter Gibson, told News4Jax Wednesday that he believes the measures help improve security overall.

"It's a very small sacrifice," Gibson said. "To me, it's no issue."

You’re allowed to bring your cellphone into the event, but you’re not allowed to use the phone as a recording device.

During the tournament, attendees can text on their cellphones and even make phone calls as long as the calls are placed a good distance from competing golfers. Mobile devices must be silenced at all times.

Additionally, no weapons or outside beverages are allowed inside the tournament grounds.
