JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Last season New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady played the entire season without wide receiver Julian Edelman. As of Tuesday, he won't have one of his favorite targets for the first four games of the 2018 season.
Early last month a report came out that Edelman was facing a four-game suspension. His appeal was denied on Tuesday.

Edelman is still making his way back after tearing his ACL in a preseason game against the Detroit Lions last season. He will miss the Patriots first four games of the season against the Texans, Jaguars, Lions and Dolphins.
