As if leading the league in touchdown passes and clinching a spot in the playoffs isn't enough, Denver Broncos' Quarterback Peyton Manning added a cherry on top by being named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year.
Manning has led Denver to an 11-3 record this year. It's his second year with the Broncos after missing the 2011 season with Indianapolis because of neck injury that many thought would end his career.

Mannning is only the FOURTH Quarterback to take the honor in the last nine years. That elite group includes Patriots' Quarterback Tom Brady, the Saint's Drew Brees and Brett Favre before he retired in 2007.
This marks Manning's 14th SI cover.
