(AP Photo/Michael Probst)FRANKFURT โ German police say French urban climber Alain Robert faces a criminal investigation and fine after scaling one of Frankfurt's tallest buildings Thursday. First, Deutsche Bahn has filed a criminal complaint for trespassing against Robert. As a foreign resident, Robert was required to deposit a security against possible future criminal proceedings and then released, Hollerbach said.
'French Spider-Man' Scales 660-Foot Building in Germany
Known for scaling some of the world's tallest structures without safety ropes or permission, Alain Robert is at it again. He is known as the French Spider-Man.This time he tackled a building in Frankfurt, Germany. Waiting for him on the ground were the cops, who seemed less than thrilled with Roberts antics. By the time he got back down to the buildings awning, two police officers were waiting there for him. The 57-year-old has climbed some of the world's tallest structures, including the Petronas Towers in Malaysia and the worlds tallest building, Dubais Burj Khalifa.
