LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas coach Les Miles has been cleared to return to the Jayhawks after his positive test for COVID-19, but out of caution is skipping the team's trip to West Virginia for Saturday's game. Also on Friday, Southern Mississippi at UTEP became the sixth game scheduled for Saturday to be postponed this week. The Gators had at least 21 players and coaches test positive for the coronavirus and dozens more quarantined because of contract tracing. “Coach Miles is doing well and has been cleared to leave isolation," Kansas team physician Dr. Larry Magee said in a statement. Miles isn't the only head coach to test positive for the virus.

Finishing off a dominating run through their first three games, the Bulldogs romped to a 55-0 win over Arkansas State on Saturday. With thousands of Georgia fans wearing pink instead of red to honor Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson's wife, Wendy, who died last month from breast cancer, the Bulldogs (3-0) took control as soon as they got their hands on the ball. Anderson, coaching his second game since returning from a leave of absence, was moved by the support of the Georgia fans. A group of shirtless students sitting in the first row behind the Arkansas State bench painted their upper bodies pink and wrote ``Remember Wendy'' across their backs. Georgia: It's hard to get a read on a team that's beaten Vanderbilt, Murray State and Arkansas State.

Red is normally the dominant color for University of Georgia fans, but pink carried the day Saturday. ATHENS, Georgia (CNN) - When University of Georgia football fans paraded into Sanford Stadium on Saturday, many had swapped out traditional red Georgia shirts for bright pink. They were staging a "pink out" of the stadium in honor of Wendy Anderson, the wife of Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson. She died August 19 from breast cancer, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. tweeted out a rallying cry to Bulldog fans on Tuesday, calling for them to wear pink to the game.
