News4JAX received new details about a double murder in San Marco that shook the community when two women were shot and killed in August.

A St. Johns County mother is pleading for information as her son’s and his friend’s unsolved murders mark seven years on Thursday.

On Sept. 18, two people were found dead inside a car that was found burning in the Edgewood area of Jacksonville’s Westside, police said.

Investigators are set to announce an update Wednesday afternoon in a shooting in August that left two women dead in the San Marco area.

It's just after one in the morning Wednesday, when Paige Pringle left her co-workers at Dos Gatos. About two miles away on Hendricks at railroad tracks, not far from Nira Street, a gunman or gunmen, shot Pringle and another woman before leaving the area. At around 1:38 AM Wednesday a caller contacts 911.

An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting a month and a half ago on the city’s Southside that left two people dead, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday.

Hes asking those people to call back, either through Crime Stoppers or the Sheriffs Office.
