JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One person was hospitalized Sunday after a car flipped into the lot of an auto shop on Beach Boulevard near Hogan Road. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the driver was heading west on Beach Boulevard Sunday morning when the black car veered off into the grass and flipped into the lot of Empire Auto Sales and Service. She also said the driver hit several of the cement barriers and pushed a Chevrolet Impala across the lot and that’s when the black car flipped. A tow truck removed the black car and crews cleaned up the debris covering the lot. The auto shop caught the crash on camera and the Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
