A year later, Lifetime is readying a follow-up series, “ Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning, ” with one major difference: this time, R. Kelly will be behind bars when it airs. “Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning” will premiere Thursday on Lifetime. That groundbreaking hip-hop group toured with R. Kelly and Maynes was initially approached by the documentary makers about what he witnessed on the road. In an interview with The Associated Press, he connected R. Kelly to other self-destructive superstars like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Prince. Bryant said the indictments against R. Kelly were never the goal of the series.

"Men have breast tissue, just not as much breast tissue," said Dr. Scot Ackerman, a radiation oncologist with the Ackerman Cancer Center. The news that Knowles has breast cancer is putting a spotlight on how susceptible men are to the disease. "Women are delaying childbirth a bit and we know that one risk factor of breast cancer is not having children or having children at a later age, and that's because of the relationship between estrogen and breast cancer. This uninterrupted estrogen stimulation of the breasts increases the risk of breast cancer," Ackerman said.

Mathew Knowles is hoping that his recent diagnosis will shine a light on male breast cancer. Knowing that his family members have a higher risk of breast cancer, Knowles made sure he told his family about the diagnosis first. "It also means my kids have a higher chance, a higher risk, even my grand kids have a higher risk. LOS ANGELES - The father of musical superstars Beyonc and Solange is revealing his breast cancer diagnosis. While breast cancer mostly affects women, thousands of men are diagnosed annually. About 245,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and 2,200 in men each year in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It said 41,000 women and 460 men die from breast cancer in the US annually. October is breast cancer awareness month.

Mathew Knowles is sharing his story. Beyonce's father has breast cancer, he shared with Good Morning America's Michael Strahan in an interview that will air on Wednesday.
