The U.K. production of “The Batman” is starting up again after being shut down earlier this month when an individual tested positive for COVID-19. A spokesperson for Warner Bros. said Thursday that filming had resumed after a hiatus for quarantine precautions. Robert Pattinson stars in the film from director Matt Reeves which had been on hiatus for almost six months because of the coronavirus pandemic. The positive case came just three days after “The Batman” had initially resumed shooting. “The Batman” was originally supposed to hit theaters in June 2021 but was pushed back to October 2021 because of the delays.

Earlier this week, it was announced Zoe Kravitz will play Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader, while ET can now confirm that Paul Dano has been cast as Edward Nashton, aka The Riddler. The Riddler is a criminal mastermind and longtime Batman foe who made his comics debut in 1948's Detective Comics #140. The character was previously played onscreen by Frank Gorshin in the '60s TV series and by Jim Carrey in 1995's Batman Forever. The Batman is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Kravitz has officially been cast as Catwoman opposite Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader, Warner Bros. confirms. Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman, is a cat burglar and longtime love interest of Bruce Wayne, previously played by Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns (1992), Halle Berry in Catwoman (2004) and Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises (2012). Funnily enough, Kravitz voiced the character in 2017's The Lego Batman Movie.
